Barbara Baker -Teacher/Director
Barbara has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with an area of concentration in Special Education from Bradley University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Learning Disabilities and Reading. She has two sons, both of whom attended Tree Town. Barbara joined the staff in the fall of 2006 as a teacher for the three and four year old classes. She took on the additional role of Director in the fall of 2008. Barbara currently teachers the two, three, and four year old classes.

Anne-Marie Mitchell - Teacher
Anne-Marie has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University. She previously taught pre-school in Portland Oregon, 1st Grade in Villa Park and was an English instructor for all levels in Japan and Costa Rica. Anne-Marie has two daughters who recently graduated from Tree Town and was last year’s President of the Board for Tree Town. She is also heading the PHA (Parent Helper Assistance) program at Tree Town which provides daycare for parents who need to volunteer. 
Sarah Lestina - Teacher
Sarah has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College and a Masters in Reading from Northeastern Illinois University. She previously taught first grade in Chicago. Sarah has three sons: one who just finished Tree Town, and one who will attend in the future. Sarah joined the staff in 2006 as a teacher in the two year old classes and occasional substitute teacher. She took a year off for a baby and returned to Tree Town in 2008. She currently teaches the two year old classes.
Marcy Rohman - Teacher
Marcy holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education from Dominican University and a bachelor degree in Elementary Education K-8 with a reading endorsement from Buena Vista University.  Marcy was actively involved at Tree Town while her three daughters were in attendance serving on the Board, assisting in the classroom, acting as a substitute teacher, and running the Parent Helper Assistance Program. Marcy joined the staff at Tree Town in the fall of 2006 and teaches three and four year old classes.
Colleen Sutherland - Teacher
Colleen holds degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education with Special Education provisions from Illinois State University. She has taught summer preschool programs for the Elmhurst Park District, kindergarten in School District 89 and the Kindergarten Readiness Program in Lombard School District 44. Colleen grew up in Elmhurst. She and her husband have two sons and a daughter, all Tree Town alumni. Colleen joined the teaching staff at Tree Town in 2001. She currently teaches both three and four year old classes.
Karen Unger - Teacher
Karen has a Bachelor’s Degree from Elmhurst College and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Illinois University. Prior to coming to Tree Town, Karen was actively involved in developing, teaching and coordinating classes for the Elmhurst Park District. She and her husband have raised three daughters and have eight grandchildren. Karen has taught at Tree Town since 1995, starting with the three and four year old classes. She currently teaches the two year old classes.
